Basketball Recap: Bingham Miners vs. Copper Hills Grizzlies

The Bingham Miners scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Copper Hills 91-62 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Bingham as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Luke Cantwell was a one-man wrecking crew for Bingham as he scored 24 points. It was the first time this season that Cantwell scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Luke West, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Bingham now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Copper Hills, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Bingham will square off against the Silverwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Riverton is ranked 14th, while the Miners are ranked 22nd). As for Copper Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
