Verona had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Madison West Regents with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Verona was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-11.

Verona's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nadie Rahn led the charge by getting five aces and one assist. Those five aces gave Rahn a new career-high.

Rahn wasn't the only good servers: Verona was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Verona's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Madison West, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-27.
