Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison lost to Marina on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 6-4. That's two games in a row now that the Chargers have lost by exactly two runs.

Edison has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 18 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Marina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Coincidentally, Edison and Marina will both be playing Corona del Mar the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Sea Kings at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Chargers will host them at 3:15 p.m. on the 28th.
