Soccer Recap: Highlands Takes a Loss

Highlands saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 5-1 to the Quaker Valley Quakers. While losing is never fun, Highlands can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 301st, while Quaker Valley are ranked 93rd).

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Quaker Valley, they pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quaker Valley, they will take on Shady Side Academy in a tournament on Thursday. Quaker Valley will need to watch out since Shady Side Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
