Baseball Game Preview: Dymally Challengers vs. View Park Knights

Dymally has gone a perfect 3-0 against View Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Challengers will welcome the Knights at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Dymally and eight for View Park.

Dymally couldn't beat Jordan on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Challengers lost 17-7 to the Bulldogs.

Bryan Baires made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has become a key player for Dymally: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Henry Sesay, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, View Park fell victim to Crenshaw and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

View Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dymally, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Dymally skirted past View Park 1-0 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Challengers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
