Brandywine had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Watervliet Panthers with a sharp 8-2 win. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Brandywine's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Watervliet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Brandywine will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
