Basketball Game Preview: Casa Grande Gauchos vs. American Canyon Wolves

The Casa Grande Gauchos will challenge the American Canyon Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

Last Thursday, Casa Grande was able to grind out a solid win over Napa, taking the game 56-44.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but American Canyon had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 65-54.

Casa Grande's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for American Canyon, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Casa Grande came up short against American Canyon when the teams last played back in January, falling 60-47. Can Casa Grande avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
