Football Recap: Torrington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Torrington was feeling good fresh off their 41-12 takedown of Wolcott last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders took a 20-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Naugatuck Greyhounds on Friday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Torrington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Naugatuck, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Torrington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Naugatuck, they will welcome St. Paul Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
