Basketball Recap: Mohawk Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mohawk, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over Siletz Valley on Thursday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 49-15 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mohawk pushed their record up to 7-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Siletz Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mohawk will square off against Eddyville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eddyville will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Mohawk surely won't give up without a fight. As for Siletz Valley, they will head out to take on Crow at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Siletz Valley is facing Crow at the right time seeing as Crow is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
