Alcona extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Evan Borsvold. The Alcona Tigers walked away with a 58-46 victory over the Tawas Area Braves on Friday thanks in part to Borsvold, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Edju Hechlik, who made all 6 shots he took to post 12 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Alcona pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Tawas Area, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
