Baseball Recap: Desert Takes a Loss

Desert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Kern Valley Broncs. The Scorpions were not able to make up for their loss to the Broncs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Desert saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Terndrup, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Desert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kern Valley, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert will face off against rival Bishop Union at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kern Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Frazier Mountain at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
