Soccer Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas lost against Keefe Tech two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Douglas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Keefe Tech are ranked 53rd).

Douglas has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-6-1 record this season. As for Keefe Tech, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-1.

Looking ahead, Douglas will take on Advanced Math & Science Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Keefe Tech, they will challenge Auburn at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
