Volleyball Recap: Covington Extends Winning Streak to Three

Covington waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the First Assembly Christian Crusaders. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Ava McCalla paced Covington's offense, picking up 11 kills. McCalla got some help from Caroline Cole and her 24 assists.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Covington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Middle College on the 22nd. As for First Assembly Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Rossville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
