Basketball Game Preview: Palestine Wildcats vs. Livingston Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Palestine Wildcats face off against the Livingston Lions at 10:20 a.m. on Friday... Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Palestine will head into Friday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of Connally. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Livingston took a blow against Hargrave on Friday, falling 110-57. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Falcons are ranked 113th).

Palestine dropped their record down to 8-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Livingston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
