 John Glenn waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Meadowbrook Colts  and snuck past  5-4. That's more bragging rights for John Glenn, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Sydney Marshall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than seven  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Addi Babcock, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 John Glenn is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record  this season. As for Meadowbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Glenn will  take on Morgan at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
