Basketball Game Preview: Atmore Christian Rams vs. South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights

The Atmore Christian Rams will challenge the South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Atmore Christian and eight for South Baldwin Christian Academy dating back to last season.

Atmore Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 50-11 loss at the hands of East Hill Christian. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Meanwhile, South Baldwin Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Gulf Pointe Latin 41-12. The Knights were down 37-9 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Atmore Christian will need focus on slowing down Caroline Arthur, one of several South Baldwin Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She posted seven points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Kate Lee, who earned two points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, South Baldwin Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

South Baldwin Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Atmore Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
