Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Blue Devils vs. Hiland Hawks

Western Reserve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hiland Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8, 25-11.

Chloeigh Endsley paced Western Reserve's offense, picking up four kills. Endsley got some help from Quincy Miller and her six assists. Endsley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hiland can attribute much of their success to Olivia Miller, who had 12 digs and six assists. That's the most assists Miller has posted since back in September of 2024.

Western Reserve's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hiland, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Western Reserve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Chalker on the 15th. As for Hiland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Tuscarawas Valley on the 16th.
