Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Haddon Heights' Winning Streak

Haddon Heights lost against Haddon Township on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Haddon Heights Garnets fell 40-28 to the Haddon Township Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Garnets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Hawks are ranked 27th).

Haddon Township's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abby Wiedeman led the charge by putting up eight points. Keirsten Callahan was another key player, earning 12 points.
