Softball Recap: Lakota's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Lakota had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Old Fort Stockaders get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Lexi Moon was excellent, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. Elizabeth Strawman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lakota's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Old Fort, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakota will head out to face off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Old Fort, they will take on Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
