Soccer Recap: Jubilee Brownsville Takes a Loss

Jubilee Brownsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the IDEA Riverview Rockets, falling 5-0. The shutout was out of character for the Titans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Jubilee Brownsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for IDEA Riverview, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jubilee Brownsville will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Port Isabel at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for IDEA Riverview, they will square off against Rio Hondo at 5:30 p.m. on February 10th. One thing working in IDEA Riverview's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five contests.
