Nick Bender put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Friday. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
