Basketball Recap: Fairview Piles Up the Points Against Mountain Range + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairview). They breezed past the Mountain Range Mustangs to the tune of 61-12 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

Fairview was led to victory by Olivia Soto and Chloe Hickory. Soto shot 56% from the field to rack up 20 points and three steals, while Hickory posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Those 20 points gave Soto a new career-high. Rylee Bennett was another key player, putting up six points along with seven steals and five boards.

Fairview was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Fairview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mountain Range, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fairview and Brighton will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Mountain Range will take on Legacy in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
