Volleyball Game Preview: Dymally Challengers vs. Locke Saints

The Dymally Challengers will head out on the road to take on the Locke Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Locke took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dymally, who comes in off a win.

Dymally not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Crenshaw 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Challengers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Locke lost 3-0 to Harbor Teacher on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Monarchs: they've now lost three in a row.

While Locke was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Harbor Teacher's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Dymally's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Locke, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Dymally might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Locke in their previous meeting on April 2nd. Can the Challengers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
