Volleyball Recap: Wiscasset Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Wiscasset Wolverines came up short against the George Stevens Academy Eagles on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Wiscasset actually scored more points across those four sets (93-89), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21, 13-25, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Acadia Simmons, who had 20 assists and four aces. Simmons is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Wiscasset's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for George Stevens Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Wiscasset has already played their next match (against Orono), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for George Stevens Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ellsworth on the 11th.
