Indian Lake's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Northwestern Warriors by a score of 6-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Indian Lake's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lane Kipker, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Kolton Cummins was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Indian Lake hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive contests.

Indian Lake's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Northwestern, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Northwestern will welcome Graham Local at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Lake will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' match: after the Warriors face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Indian Lake again at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
