The Bellingham Bayhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Mount Vernon Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bellingham had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Burlington-Edison on Thursday. The Bayhawks never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Bellingham considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Mount Vernon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Cubs. That's two games straight that Mount Vernon have won by just one goal.

Mount Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-4. As for Bellingham, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Everything went Bellingham's way against Mount Vernon in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Bellingham made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bayhawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
