Basketball Recap: South Haven Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

After flying high against Berean Christian last Thursday, South Haven Christian came back down to earth. The contest between South Haven Christian and the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors didn't end well, with South Haven Christian falling 61-47. South Haven Christian's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, South Haven Christian still got an impressive performance from Jared White, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. White's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kade Atkinson, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and four steals.

South Haven Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Horizon Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

South Haven Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-40 victory against Temple Baptist Academy on the 18th. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-49 win against Franklin Road Christian on the 18th.
