Volleyball Recap: Parkland's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Parkland had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They blew past the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Vikings back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

While Parkland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Allentown Central Catholic scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Coonradt, who had 15 digs and three aces. Coonradt has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Zoey Leach was another key player, getting ten digs.

Parkland's victory bumped their record up to 16-6-1. As for Allentown Central Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5-1.

Parkland and Allentown Central Catholic should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Trojans will take on Whitehall at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 271). Meanwhile, Allentown Central Catholic (ranked 58th) will meet William Allen (ranked 284th) at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
