Arvin entered their tilt with Mira Monte on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 45-36 victory over the Mira Monte Lions. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 79-52 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arvin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Miguel Damian, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Damian a new career-high in steals (four). Xzavier Pierson-Brooks was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Arvin pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Mira Monte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Arvin will face off against Rosamond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mira Monte, they will challenge Foothill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mira Monte is facing Foothill at the right time seeing as Foothill is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
