The Locust Fork Hornets will challenge the Piedmont Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Locust Fork has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Piedmont will arrive with five straight victories.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Locust Fork and Pennington, and Pennington kept the tradition alive. The Hornets had to suffer through a 46-14 loss at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Piedmont got themselves on the board against Comer on Friday, but Comer never followed suit. They blew past the Tigers 61-0. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Austin threw for 307 yards and four TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes while Pinto picked up 166 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Bolton, who rushed for 97 yards and one score.

Piedmont's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Locust Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
