Baseball Recap: King's Fork Comes Up Short

King's Fork fell victim to Western Branch and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bruins, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 17-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

King's Fork is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9. As for Western Branch, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, King's Fork will square off against Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Western Branch, they will take on Hickory at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
