Daniel extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came out on top against the Pendleton Bulldogs by a score of 74-62. 74 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Will Swan had another great game (as he tends to do), going 9-for-17 en route to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Conley, who shot 73% from the field on his way to 16 points and seven boards.

Daniel was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They racked up 12 more assists than Pendleton's also-impressive total of ten.

As for Pendleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. They have struggled against Daniel recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Pendleton still got an impressive performance from Samuel Ross, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 28 points. The matchup was Ross' fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was DeQuan Hickmon, who posted six points.

Daniel has already played their next game, a 62-46 loss against Franklin County on the 13th. As for Pendleton, they will head out on the road to challenge Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Pendleton will be up against Berea's rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
