San Luis Obispo had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Clovis West Golden Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played  back in September of 2024.
 San Luis Obispo never let Clovis West on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12,  27-25.
San Luis Obispo's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Clovis West,  with the  loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-5.
 San Luis Obispo and Clovis West should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 23rd) will meet Cabrillo (ranked 745th)  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile,  Clovis West will  face off against  Edison  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  advantage  (44 vs. 657).
