Volleyball Recap: Morro Bay Takes a Loss

After flying high against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy last Tuesday, Morro Bay came back down to earth. The Morro Bay Pirates lost 3-0 to the Arroyo Grande Eagles on Wednesday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Morro Bay's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Morro Bay has already played their next contest (against Nipomo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arroyo Grande, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Laguna Blanca on the 6th.
