Softball Game Preview: Colonie Central Wolfpack vs. Greenwich Witches

The Colonie Central Wolfpack will take on the Greenwich Witches at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Colonie Central is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They came out on top against Troy by a score of 6-1. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Flying Horses: they've now won three in a row.

Adrianna Laraway spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Katie Parisi, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Ashley Hacker was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Greenwich put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Cambridge. The Witches blew past the N/A 10-0.
