Soccer Recap: Glidden-Ralston Takes a Loss

Glidden-Ralston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the North Polk Comets. While losing is never fun, Glidden-Ralston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 189th, while North Polk are ranked 17th).

Glidden-Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for North Polk, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3-2.

Looking ahead, Glidden-Ralston will face off against Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Polk, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Ar-We-Va on the 13th.
