Belen's leading rusher did his thing again  on Friday.  Gonzalo Cano made a splash, rushing for 118 yards and two  scores on only nine carries, while also throwing for 164 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 12 passes. He was dominant the last time he took on Miyamura back in September of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Cano's passing game has become a key predictor of Belen's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.
 Looking ahead,  Cano and Belen will challenge Highland at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
