After a string of three wins, Segerstrom's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell to the El Rancho Dons 48-43.

El Rancho got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Rivas out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Rivas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Willliam Soria, who posted 12 points and six rebounds.

Segerstrom's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for El Rancho, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Segerstrom will square off against Kennedy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Segerstrom surely won't give up without a fight. As for El Rancho, they will challenge El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. El Rancho is facing El Monte at the right time seeing as El Monte is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
