Football Recap: Ore City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Big Sandy last Thursday, Ore City came back down to earth. The Rebels were outmatched by the Waskom Wildcats and fell 63-7. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Ore City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Waskom, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ore City is set to square off against their familiar foe Hawkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waskom will challenge rival Harleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
