Basketball Recap: New Rockford-Sheyenne's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

New Rockford-Sheyenne can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Hornets 48-46. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooklyn Dockter, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 16 points and five rebounds, and Rachel Neumiller, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Maci Reutter, who earned seven points.

New Rockford-Sheyenne's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

New Rockford-Sheyenne will square off against Larimore at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-42 victory against Westhope/Newburg on the 23rd.
