Honeoye Falls-Lima had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Canandaigua Academy on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Braves a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Honeoye Falls-Lima now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Canandaigua Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Honeoye Falls-Lima will welcome Avon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Canandaigua Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
