Basketball Recap: Hagerman Triumphs

Hagerman's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 31-23 win over the Floyd Broncos. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Despite the loss, Floyd saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Klowie Bustamante posted ten points.

The victory got Hagerman back to even at 1-1. As for Floyd, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Hagerman will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dexter at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Floyd, they and Mesilla Valley Christian School will face off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
