Soccer Game Preview: Castle View vs. Heritage

The Castle View Sabercats will venture away from home to challenge the Heritage Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Castle View is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Ponderosa on Tuesday as they made off with a 5-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Castle View in their matchups with Ponderosa: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Heritage hasn't lost a match since September 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Legend finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Heritage's draw makes their record 3-3-3 this season. As for Castle View, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.

Castle View couldn't quite get it done against Heritage when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Sabercats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
