Sterling City is 6-0 against Forsan since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sterling City Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Forsan Buffaloes at 7:45 p.m. Both are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Sterling City is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Eldorado by a score of 46-43. The match was a 24-24 toss-up at halftime, but Sterling City couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Forsan didn't have quite enough to beat Ozona on Friday and fell 59-56.

Sterling City has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Forsan, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.

Sterling City skirted past Forsan 53-50 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sterling City since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
