Volleyball Recap: Lena-Winslow Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lena-Winslow lost against Dakota back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 25-15 in the first set.

Lena-Winslow started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Lena-Winslow saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kieryn Getz had nine digs and two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Lena-Winslow and nudges their season record down to 16-13. As for Dakota, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12-1 record this season.

Lena-Winslow will be taking part in a tournament against Indian Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Dakota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
