Basketball Recap: Ridgevue Takes Down Ranked Centennial

On Thursday, Ridgevue faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ridgevue Warhawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-61 win over the Centennial Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warhawks.

Ridgevue's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Javonte Boles, who posted 19 points. Boles is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tucker Tiddens, who scored 17 points.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Gabe Eddins, who went 11 for 21 en route to 27 points along with five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Tibbets, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Ridgevue is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Centennial, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.
