Lenox proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mount Ayr Raiders & Raiderettes, sneaking past 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Lenox's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Mount Ayr, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lenox will take on East Union at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Ayr, they will challenge Martensdale-St. Mary's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Raiders & Raiderettes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
