Having struggled with four losses in a row, Central A & M turned things around against Neoga on Saturday. They blew past the Indians 50-28.

Meanwhile, Altamont can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against Woodlawn by a score of 52-43. The win was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Cardinals are ranked 188th).

Altamont's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Central A & M, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
