Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Christian Center). They breezed past the Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams to the tune of 84-27 on Monday. Given the Kings' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Holy Rams are ranked 211th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Victory Christian Center's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isabell Berhe led the charge by going 7-for-10 on her way to 20 points. What's more, Berhe also posted a 83% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sofia Ponce, who went 6-for-7 en route to 13 points in addition to six assists and five boards.

Victory Christian Center was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Victory Christian Center pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Word of God Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
