Soccer Recap: Seacrest Country Day Comes Up Short

Seacrest Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southwest Florida Christian King. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stingrays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in November of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Addie Fox, which was the first she's scored this season.

Seacrest Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Southwest Florida Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Seacrest Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they will take on Marco Island Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Florida Christian is facing Marco Island Academy at the right time seeing as Marco Island Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
